time out to risk their lives for our freedom and our safety. They return home from a different world full of violence and destruction and return to their families to pick up where they left off. Many times when a Service Member has that Battle Mind Characteristic within themselves, it is tough to reintegrate back to a normal life.Military Service Members and other organizations that have a militaristic structure live by different standards and values in protecting Americans from foreign and domestic enemies. They have different culture. At a time in which the country calls them they put aside their own issues and obligations and serve our nation. It is these very warriors within our communities of faith in which we hope to serve. Our desire is that we would all work together to create a cohesive system that has continued understanding and spiritual advocacy in order to heal the hidden wounds of moral injury. To successfully serve our warriors and their families, we must unite in our faith and our comfort to successfully serve our veterans and other warriors who protect our nation. The guide will help in educating you on the basics of Pastoral care for veterans and how to form a Warrior Ministry. By building a foundation of Spiritual care, we can strengthen the warrior and their families. There is a difference in each veteran. No two veterans handle their experiences the same way. This is why we must know the difference between how a World War II veteran may handle the reintegration process compared to a veteran of today. We must know the issues that each one of them face by using the six dimensions of wellness stated in this manual. The is a language barrier in every culture. Be aware of those differences when you spiritually care for your Warrior.Use this book to help in your faith based support of the veterans within your community and reach out to those organizations that can help bring that spiritual care and mentorship for our veterans. They can't do it alone, no church can do it alone. Read this book and come out to Camp Liberty with the other Patriots to support our veterans in the great outdoors. A focus on our faith will help us heal.
